The Bridge youth group (11-14s) meets during the service and the Junction youth group (14-18s) meets straight afterwards.

After the service we meet informally in St Andrew's to chat further over a hot meal or drink. Children's food is also available.

Our midweek small group Bible studies are really important to our church life together at St Helen's. Many of us find that meeting up with a small group of people during the week to help one another understand God's word better and to pray together really helps us to grow in our relationship with God and with one another.

All RML evenings start at 7:15pm, when we enjoy a hot meal together before the study, and are finished by 9:30pm.

RML Luke Tuesday is recommended for newcomers to St Helen's who attend the 4pm service on a Sunday. We meet together to study Luke's Gospel, which is designed to show the identity of Jesus, what he came to do and how we should respond to him. We meet every Tuesday during term time in St Peter's Church. Once a term we have the opportunity to go on a weekend away together, considering key topics - How God Speaks, The Cross, Understanding the Bible for Yourself.

    • 7:15pm - 9:30pm RML Romans
      Sunday Afternoon
      4PM RML

      RML Romans (4pm congregation)

      Venue: St Peter's
More Info: Click here for more on RML Romans

RML Romans Tuesday is designed for those who have already studied the book of Mark, John or Luke and are attending the 4pm service on a Sunday. We study the letter to the Romans each week, which sets out the gospel of Jesus and its implications for Christians today. We have the opportunity to go away together for three weekends each year, one each term, considering key topics - Church, God's Sovereignty and Evangelism.

    • 6:45pm - 9:00pm RML Overview
      Sunday Afternoon
      Sunday Evening

      RML Overview

      Venue: St Helen's
More Info: Click for more about RML Overview

Our midweek small group Bible studies are really important to our church life together at St Helen's. Meeting up with a small group of people during the week to help one another understand God's word better and to pray together really helps us to grow in our relationship with God and with one another. They are a great complement to our Sunday meetings and as we read, think, pray and serve together so we become more the church God would have us be.

The evening starts at 6:45pm, when we enjoy a hot meal together before the study, and are finished by 9pm.

RML Overview is recommended for those attending the 4pm or 6pm services on Sundays who have already studied RML Mark and Romans.

It is a tour of the key highlights and turning points of Scripture, not just to see what is in the Bible, but to see that the whole Bible really does fit together, to see how it fits together and to get to know our incredible God and his amazing plan better as we do this. We meet weekly throughout the year, with the opportunity to go away together for three weekends, one each term, considering key topics that complement the Overview - The Doctrine of God, The Psalms, and The End of the World.
