Our midweek small group Bible studies are really important to our church life together at St Helen's. Most of us find that meeting up with a small group of people during the week to help one another understand God's word better and to pray together really helps us to grow in our relationship with God and with one another. They are a great complement to our Sunday meetings and as we read, think, pray and serve together so we become more the church God would have us be.

RML Romans follows on from RML Mark, taking us deeper into God's Word as we look into what it means to live as a Christian, using the book of Romans. We meet once a week across the year, with the opportunity to go away together for three weekends each year, one each term, considering key topics - Church, God's Sovereignty and Evangelism. We would love you to join us.

RML Romans Tuesday is designed for those who have already studied the book of Mark or John and are attending the 4pm service on a Sunday. We study the letter to the Romans each week, which sets out the gospel of Jesus and its implications for Christians today. We have the opportunity to go away together for three weekends each year, one each term, considering key topics - Church, God's Sovereignty and Evangelism.

Our midweek small group Bible studies are really important to our church life together at St Helen's. Many of us find that meeting up with a small group of people during the week to help one another understand God's word better and to pray together really helps us to grow in our relationship with God and with one another.

All RML evenings start at 7:15pm, when we enjoy a hot meal together before the study, and are finished by 9:30pm.

RML Luke Tuesday is recommended for newcomers to St Helen's who attend the 4pm service on a Sunday. We meet together to study Luke's Gospel, which is designed to show the identity of Jesus, what he came to do and how we should respond to him. We meet every Tuesday during term time in St Peter's Church. Once a term we have the opportunity to go on a weekend away together, considering key topics - How God Speaks, The Cross, Understanding the Bible for Yourself..

Venue: St Andrew's (except 4pm people Tuesday St Peter's)
      Contact: Miriam Marshall

Central Focus evenings are recommended for those who have already done Read, Mark, Learn or who arrive at St Helen's later in life.

As with all the small group evenings at St Helens, we aim to encourage each other to listen to the voice of God in his Word the Bible and to live in the light of what God says.

One distinctive feature of Central Focus is that we tend to study different books of the Bible each year. This year we will be studying Titus, Micah and Colossians.

Groups meet in St Andrew's for supper at 7.15pm, study at 8pm and end by 9.15pm.

If you would like to join a Central Focus group please email st-helens@st-helens.org.uk or call the Church Office on 020 7283 2231, indicating whether you would prefer to join a group on a Tuesday or a Thursday evening.
