    • 7:15pm - 9:15pm Central Focus

      Central Focus Thursdays

      Venue: St Andrew's
      More Info: /belong/midweek-bible-studies/central-focus/central-focus

Central Focus evenings are recommended for those who have already done Read, Mark, Learn or who arrive at St Helen's later in life.

As with all the small group evenings at St Helens, we aim to encourage each other to listen to the voice of God in his Word the Bible and to live in the light of what God says.

One distinctive feature of Central Focus is that we tend to study different books of the Bible each year.  This year we will be studying the book of Luke.

Tuesday groups meet in St Andrew's for supper at 7.15pm, study at 8pm and end by 9.15pm.

If you would like to join a Central Focus group please email Anna (a.lamb@st-helens.org.uk), or call the Church Office on 020 7283 2231, indicating whether you would prefer to join a group on Tuesday or a Thursday evening.

Our midweek small group Bible studies are really important to our church life together at St Helen's. Meeting up with a small group of people during the week to help one another understand God's word better and to pray together really helps us to grow in our relationship with God and with one another. They are a great complement to our Sunday meetings and as we read, think, pray and serve together so we become more the church God would have us be.

All RML evenings start at 7:15pm, when we enjoy a hot meal together before the study, and are finished by 9:30pm.

RML Overview is recommended for those attending the 4pm or 6pm services on Sundays who have already studied RML Mark and Romans.

It is a tour of the key highlights and turning points of Scripture, not just to see what is in the Bible, but to see that the whole Bible really does fit together, to see how it fits together and to get to know our incredible God and his amazing plan better as we do this. We meet weekly throughout the year, with the opportunity to go away together for three weekends, one each term, considering key topics that complement the Overview - The Doctrine of God, The Psalms, and The End of the World.
