      RML Romans (6pm congregation)

      Bible Ref: Romans
      Venue: St Helen's
      More Info: /belong/midweek-bible-studies/rml-romans

Our midweek small group Bible studies are really important to our church life together at St Helen's. Most of us find that meeting up with a small group of people during the week to help one another understand God's word better and to pray together really helps us to grow in our relationship with God and with one another. They are a great complement to our Sunday meetings and as we read, think, pray and serve together so we become more the church God would have us be.

All RML evenings start at 7:15pm, when we enjoy a hot meal together before the study, and are finished by 9:30pm.

RML Romans follows on from RML Mark, taking us deeper into God's Word as we look into what it means to live as a Christian, using the book of Romans. We meet once a week across the year, with the opportunity to go away together for three weekends each year, one each term, considering key topics - Church, God's Sovereignty and Evangelism. We would love you to join us.

For more information on RML Romans or to sign up, contact Mitch: m.spence@st-helens.org.uk

Central Focus evenings are recommended for those who have already done Read, Mark, Learn or who arrive at St Helen's later in life.

As with all the small group evenings at St Helens, we aim to encourage each other to listen to the voice of God in his Word the Bible and to live in the light of what God says.

One distinctive feature of Central Focus is that we tend to study different books of the Bible each year.  This year we will be studying the book of Luke.

Tuesday groups meet in St Andrew's for supper at 7.15pm, study at 8pm and end by 9.15pm.

If you would like to join a Central Focus group please email Anna (a.lamb@st-helens.org.uk), or call the Church Office on 020 7283 2231, indicating whether you would prefer to join a group on Tuesday or a Thursday evening.

St Helen's is a big church family, so our small groups are a really important part of our life together We run a specific evening for those from overseas who are only planning to be in London for a few years: International Growth Groups. Our desire is to grow more like Jesus as we encourage one another to respond to God's Word, both to life here in London and life back in our home context.

As a mix of workers and students, we meet once a week to study the Bible (this year we're studying John's gospel) and pray for one another. Two of the ten groups are designed for friends looking into the Christian faith - people are welcome to join at any point in the year.  Meeting at St Peter's, we begin with food at 7pm and finish the evening by 9pm.

The Bridge is the youth group for 11 to 14 year olds (school years 7 to 9).

Our aim is to find out from the Bible more about who Jesus is, what he has done for us, and how this impacts our lives.

On Fridays during term time we meet in St Peter's from 7 to 9pm. The evening includes a short talk from the Bible, lots of games, and the opportunity to ask any questions you have about Christianity. There are occasional socials on Fridays throughout the term. In the Spring Term we are looking at the book of Judges, and in the Summer Term we will be looking at the second half of Hebrews.

For more details about The Bridge, please contact the youth team via a.kite@st-helens.org.uk or call the church office on 020 7283 2231.

The Bridge also meets during the 10.30am service on Sundays during term time.  We start off in the main meeting in St Helen's, then after about 10 minutes we leave to play a few games and have a small group Bible study together.
