RML Mark and RML Luke

Midweek Small Groups for Newcomers

If you're new to St Helen's, we recommend that you start with RML Mark or RML Luke. We study either Mark's or Luke's Gospel over the course of the whole year, meeting together once a week (with breaks for Christmas and Easter). We all go away together for three weekends a year, one each term, spending time together considering key topics – How God Speaks, The Cross, and Understanding the Bible for Yourself.

These groups meet in different locations around or close to St Helen's and on different evenings according to the different congregations:

RML for students (including postgrads) runs on Wednesday evenings in St Peter Cornhill.

For those at the 4PM Sunday service, we meet to study Luke's Gospel on Tuesdays in St Peter's (click here for directions). RML Luke starts at 7:15pm, when we enjoy a hot meal together before the study, and is finished by 9:30pm.

For people at the 6PM Sunday service, we meet to study Mark's Gospel on Wednesdays in St Helen's Bishopsgate (click here for directions). RML Mark starts at 6:15pm, when we enjoy a hot meal together before the study, and is finished by 8:30pm.

St Peter Cornhill can be hard to find, so one of us can meet you close to the church!

To help us serve each other, a workbook has been produced to help us as we read the passage each week and start thinking through what it is saying. Filled with questions on each passage, and helpful tools for understanding the Bible, you can buy one on Tuesday/Wednesday evening.
