Sunday Morning Meeting

The 10:30AM service

The Sunday morning congregation is a large, diverse and friendly church family, made up of people from all over the world and every stage of life. Everyone is very welcome!

The services combine the best of traditional hymns and contemporary songs, and centre each week on the public proclamation of God’s word.

There are crèche facilities, as well as Sunday School groups, in which the children learn about Jesus in a safe and fun environment. Typically, the meeting finishes around 11:45am, and is followed by tea and coffee. Often there are groups heading out for lunch together, and many families cook enough food expecting visitors to join them, so if you’re hungry, grab someone and invite yourself for lunch!

Jesus once told a famous story about a wise and foolish builder. The foolish man built his house upon the sand. Unsurprisingly, when the rains came, his house came crashing down. The wise man however built his house on the rock. When the rains came, his house stood firm. Who is the wise man? It is the one who listens to Jesus and does what he says. That parable highlights our key aim as a congregation. Whether someone has been a Christian for many decades or has never before walked into a church, we aim to help each other to listen to Jesus, and do what he says.

We very much hope that you will be able to join us on a Sunday morning some time soon.
