Thoughts for Families

Life can be very busy. Whole days can feel chaotic. Living with children is unpredictable. But in the midst of it all, God is constant. His word never changes. Connecting God's word to the details of everyday life can be a struggle. It can also be a joy.

Thoughts for Families will be occasional series aimed at helping children make connections between the word of God and normal everyday living. The method is simple. Learn a Psalm off by heart with your family. (Take your time. There's no hurry. A verse or two a week will do.)  Then, as you go, have conversations together about what you've learnt. Call the Psalm to mind when you are out and about. Use it in your everyday talk as a family.

We'll start with Psalm 121.

To help us along there will be some ideas about questions to ask your children.
