Is the coast clear yet?

The summer break can give us a bit more space to listen and think about God’s words. As we travel, sit on the beach, or simply have more free time here in London, it can be really helpful to listen to old sermons and talks, to feed our thinking on God’s words.

Here are some 6pm team favourites from the media library:

People under pressure: Dick Lucas on Psalm 32 at Women on Wednesday (one talk)

Listen here >>>

A helpful, warm mediation for those feeling stressed or harassed by life. Dick Lucas gives us Biblical principles for how to think, and pray when we’re feeling under pressure.

Spiritual but not religious: William Taylor on Matthew 6-7 for the City Congregation (series of eight)

Listen here >>>

William’s recent series in the city, has been a clear and helpful exposition of the Sermon on the Mount. It’s a really helpful series considering what is true Biblical spirituality, and how that fits with our money, or prayer lives, or anxiety levels and more.

You only live twice: Charlie Skrine on 1 Corinthians 15 at the Long Weekend Away (series of three)

Listen here >>>

If you want to take a passage of scripture to study and apply this summer, why not take 1 Corinthians 15, and use these talks to help? Charlie has done a lot of work on 1 Corinthians 15, and is very helpful in spelling its implications and applications for Christians today.

Happy Listening!
