Preparing ourselves for January's sermon series

In January we are taking a break from our Exodus sermon series. William Taylor will be speaking from 9 to 30 January 2011 on Luke chapter 10. The series is entitled Mission Impossible and we will look at the chapter in four section: verses 1-16, 17-20, 21-22 and 23-24. This Christmas break as you spend time listening to the Lord in his Word, why not read up on this passage? As you meditate, think about the following questions:

Making the most of Christmas

Let me ask you a simple question. Are you someone who rests to work, or who works to rest? That is to say, is the goal of your working to enable you to rest, or do you view rest as a time to recover and be refreshed in order to work more efficiently?
