Take Home Sheets for Sunday School

Each week the Preschool join in with an action rhyme as part of their teaching. It's a kind of active, rhythmic, rhyming chant that summarises the key theme of the day's Bible teaching. With our Exodus stories, the action rhymes even have tunes. Old nursery rhyme melodies are put to use to help the children remember what they have heard.

Take Home Sheets for Sunday School

We all need reassurance sometimes. A kind word in the ear or an arm around the shoulder can do a world of good. In today's story from Exodus 6 we heard about when God reassured Moses. After the seeming failure of his visit to Pharaoh in chapter 5, Moses needed encouragement. And God gave it to him in abundance. This reassurance for Moses was all tied up with the covenant God had made.
