Making Your Marriage Work

Invest in Marriage 2015-16

New Year is often a time for reflection and resolutions. For many, the chance to prayerfully evaluate the previous twelve months is an opportunity to think about how we could be living more in line with God's will. One particular area to think through is our marriages and how we might improve them over the forthcoming year.

Our next Investing in Marriage event for married couples will be held at St Helen's Church on Sat 21 Jan 2017, 9:30am - 1:00pm. There will also be a similar event at St Nicholas Cole Abbey tailored for single people on Sat 25 Feb at the same times.

It'll be a morning of teaching, discussion and prayer for couples at all stages of marriage, with a talk, time in couples, and a Q&A. Please book in with Miriam Marshall, saying if you would like childcare to be provided.

We also have an event Happily Ever After? on Sat 28 Jan 2017 looking at what God has to say about sex, dating, and relationships. Email Amy to sign up. 10am for 10:30 start with a break at 1:15pm. (Venue St Andrew Undershaft.)

To help you get started, see our link below to William Taylor's Sunday Morning talk on Ephesians 5. This message is suitable for those who are married, thinking about getting married or know married people. You may want to listen to it with your spouse and then spend some time thinking and talking about the issues it raises.
