Short-Term Cross-Cultural Teams

Ministry across boundaries

Short-term cross-cultural teamsTesting the Waters
We are concerned to see the spread of God's Kingdom in London and across the world.  To this end, we pray that the Lord will send out workers into his harvest field (Matt 9:38), crossing cultural boundaries, and we encourage people to think of serving the Lord in this way.

Short-term opportunities (from a couple of weeks to a year-or-so) are a great way of testing the waters for anyone considering long-term, cross-cultural ministry or to develop a greater awareness of Gospel ministry in another part of the world.  Therefore, in addition to encouraging people to visit our mission partners across the world, we are also linked with the following cross-cultural opportunities:

Teams from St Helen's
We aim to have teams from St Helen's going to East Asia (Easter and August), Nigeria (July) and South Asia (early 2012) to join with Christians there in helping people to know more about Jesus.  They will each cost approximately £800-£1,300.

Opportunities linked with St Helen's
InterAction Camps are bilingual French-English camps in Belgium and France and are for 11-14 and 14-17 year olds in July and August.

Visiting mission partners
We have
mission partners in various parts of the world. They often host short-term teams linked to their mission agency or people simply wanting to see what mission is like in their part of the world.

If you would like further information about the teams or about visiting our mission partners, please contact Robert on r.scott@st-helens.org.uk.
