Students in London

Welcome to St Helen's!

We're a large city centre church with a large number of students who study at universities and colleges across London. This makes it a great place to meet other students - from medics to mathematicians to musicians.

London is a fantastic place to be a student but it can sometimes feel lonely, particularly if you are here for the first time. Added to which, there is so much going on - trying to pack everything in around lecture and essay deadlines can be quite a challenge. So if you're a student in London, we aim to run events geared to you.

Finding out about Christianity

If you're new to Christianity or just looking into what Christians believe and why, then take a look at some of the options for finding out more. We'd love to help you with your investigations.

Belonging to the Church

If you're already a Christian we'd love you to come and join the church family. We want you to belong to St Helen's - both to feel a part and to take a part in church. Most students come on Sunday evening (6pm at St Helen's), which is full of people in their 20s and 30s who work and study in London.  After the evening meeting during term time, we put on regular Student Suppers.  It's also great if you can join in the student Small groups (RML), which are a great way of discovering more of God's word and really feeling a part of church life.
