Bible Study Groups

As our main meetings are quite large, many of us meet in small group Bible studies during the week (detailed below).  Together we listen to God, grow in our relationship with him and get to know and serve one another really well.

if you’re new to Christianity our Christianity Explored courses are an ideal place to ask questions and find out more about the claims of Jesus.

After Work - Read Mark Learn

Read Mark Learn (RML) is our main series of midweek small groups for those who live in London. We meet for supper from 7.15pm and then split into our regular groups (of about 10 people) to study the Bible and pray.

In our RML groups we look at Mark, Romans and a Bible Overview. For newcomers, Mark’s Gospel is the best place to start. Together with others new to St Helen’s, you will get to grips with a book that will enrich your view of who Jesus is, deepen your love for him, and will also help you to study the Bible for yourself.

Before Work & Lunchtimes – The Partnership

The Partnership is primarily for people who commute into London to work and whose local church involvement means they find it easier to attend one of our midweek groups before work or at lunchtime.

We meet over breakfast on Wednesdays or at lunchtime on Fridays for Bible study, prayer and mutual encouragement.

Wednesdays in St Andrew’s:

7.15am Breakfast
7.45-8.30am Study

Fridays in St Helen's:

12.45 - 1.45pm (drinks provided, please bring your own lunch)

Central Focus

Central Focus is for those who have completed the RML series of studies and want to continue meeting centrally.  We start with supper and then split into our groups to study the Bible and pray together, just as in RML.
