Romans 6:1-14

New life, new freedom

In this chapter, Paul shows a monumental change for Christians. Once prisoners of the cruel slavemaster sin and unable to live for God, we have now been set free from its oppressive reign having died with Christ. We cannot say that we will never sin again as the battle with it rages on—but we can choose what was once impossible, to resist it when it attacks and to choose to please God.
