Necessary avoidance

Paul warns and makes Timothy aware there will be times in the life of his churches when it seems madness has broken out. Prevalent back-biting and in-fighting will break churches, destroy people and the gospel work. To combat this, Paul wants Timothy to know how to behave towards such people: avoid them.
