Not through our obedience to the law

The Galatians were going astray because they didn’t understand the place of the Old Testament law in God’s salvation plan. The Bible story from Exodus to 2 Kings reveals God’s plan and how the law did not accomplish salvation from the Fall. The law could not work because, while God-ordained, it functioned on the principles of this world and was only intended for the period before Jesus came.
