Exodus 35:4-29

A generous heart

It is a miserable thing to be halfhearted, robbed of the joy that comes with wholehearted devotion. In Exodus 35, we’re given a glimpse of a wholeheartedly generous people, united in the joyful work of building the Lord’s dwelling place. And we’re given the key to producing that sort of wholeheartedness: a face to face encounter with the grace of God in the forgiveness of our sins.
