Defining sacraments

The sacraments are one of the areas of greatest confusion among Christians today, and yet our forefathers, the English Reformers, considered the right doctrine of the sacraments worth dying for. To start to bridge this gap, we first need to understand what we mean when we say sacraments, where they come from biblically, and how people have gotten them wrong in history.
