Malachi 3:13-4:6

The day that distinguishes

In Malachi 3:13–4:6, God answers a piercing question: is it worth it to return to the Lord? As the day of the Lord approaches, the difference between the righteous and the wicked will be unmistakable. God will deliver those who fear him—favouring, forgiving, healing, and freeing them—while the unrepentant face destruction.
