Understanding Christmas

Christmas is good news — but only if we understand the problem it comes to solve. The Bible speaks honestly about God's coming wrath — not because God doesn’t care, but because he does. In this talk from 1 Thessalonians 1, we see why Christmas addresses a problem we’d rather ignore, and why Jesus was born to deal with it. The baby in the manger comes to rescue us, not by asking for our performance, but by giving his own — delivering us from the wrath to come and opening the way to real joy.
