Marriage: from Genesis to the gospel

Marriage is more than a relationship—it is part of God’s beautiful design for creation and a powerful picture of his saving love in Christ. In this session, we’ll trace the story of marriage through the Bible: created good in Genesis, damaged by sin in the fall, and ultimately redeemed and fulfilled in the gospel. We’ll explore how the 'big M' marriage between Christ and the Church shapes and transforms our 'little m' marriages, and consider what it means to live out love, headship, submission, and Christlikeness in everyday life. Along the way, there will be space to reflect, discuss, and pray as we think about how to invest in our marriages with hope, honesty, and gospel confidence.
