Faithful in foreign lands

The normal Christian experience is to find the world opposed to God applying pressure to conform to its ways. So, what will help us stand firm? In Daniel chapter 1 we meet our God and learn that he reigns, even when human powers look to have won. And that he is unfailingly faithful to his people. Knowing this we are equipped to resist pressure and stand firm.
