Why can we pray with confidence? This talk explores the wonder of access to God through Jesus Christ. Hebrews and Ephesians remind us that Christ has opened the way into the Father’s presence by his blood, and now intercedes for us at God’s right hand. We pray not as outsiders trying to reach a distant God, but as people welcomed into his presence through the Son. Together we’ll reflect on how the gospel transforms prayer from fear and distance into confidence, assurance, and hope. We’ll also consider practical habits that help us grow in prayerfulness — turning worry into trust, Scripture into prayer, and everyday moments into opportunities for praise and dependence on God.
