Have you ever doubted whether Jesus was really coming back? Even in the days of the apostles, scoffers tried to undermine Christian confidence in the second coming. Peter responds by pointing us to God's perfect patience in giving time for more people to repent, as he reminds us of the certainty of Christ's return.
