Midweek Small Groups

Our midweek small group Bible studies are really important to our church life together at St Helen’s. Many of us find that meeting up with a small group of people during the week to help one another understand God’s word better and to pray together really helps us to grow in our relationship with God and with one another.

Our main small groups are called Read Mark Learn (RML), and look at different parts of the Bible: Mark, Romans and a Bible Overview, and have a weekend away together each term.

We suggest starting with RML Mark as this is specifically designed for newcomers.  There are groups on Wednesday evenings for students (including postgrads) and on Tuesday evenings for everyone else.  Both start with supper from 7.15pm in St Helen's and will be finished by 9.30pm.

We also have groups for:

• Women who are home full or part-time during the day: Women on Wednesday
• Those who have already been part of an RML group: Central Focus and Home Groups
• City workers before work
• Internationals, with groups for Chinese people and other nationalities
• Young People

All our small groups meet from October to June, with breaks at Christmas and Easter. During July, August and September, we meet altogether at Summerlink. Everyone – newcomer and regular alike – is welcome.
