Dick Lucas Section

Talks by Dick Lucas, past and present

4pm b

This section is dedicated to the expository teaching and training ministry of Dick Lucas, past and present.

Dick Lucas was Rector of St Helen's from 1961 to 1998, when he retired. After his retirement, he continued to speak at conferences run by The Proclamation Trust and related organisations; and he preached at St Helen's each summer until 2012 to give his successor, William Taylor, a well-earned break. In 2013 he revived his From My Study to Yours audio teaching ministry, aimed at helping Bible teachers and preachers to teach the Scriptures. Dick Lucas' sermons at St Helen's started to be recorded in approximately 1967; most recordings since then have survived and are available online.

The aim of this section is to help listeners explore, enjoy, and profit from decades of his expository preaching and training.
