FRIDAY 30 NOVEMBER–SUNDAY 2 DECEMBER 2018

6–2pm
Mark (1) Weekend Away

What is a weekend away?

At St Helen’s we run three weekends away each year. They are great times to get to know your group better, enjoy good food and spend a weekend outside London with plenty of free time to enjoy the country air!

Most excitingly they are an amazing opportunity to hear loads of teaching on a topic at the heart of the Christian faith. At the Knowing God Weekend we consider the following questions:

How can I know God, what He’s like and what He has to say? What does it mean to have a relationship with God? What’s the Holy Spirit’s role in this relationship? How should we expect God to speak to us? Why do we call the Bible “God's word”? What does that mean? How can I expect God to guide me through some of life’s biggest decisions – such as who to marry, where to live and what job I should do?

FRIDAY 30 NOVEMBER–SUNDAY 2 DECEMBER 2018

6–2pm
IGG (1) Weekend Away

Each year IGG goes away together to listen to God's Word and to spend time getting to know one another. At this weekend, we'll be split into Mandarin and English speaking groups, and thinking about how understanding the Bible story helps us to dig deeper into each part.
