City Summer School

The City Summer School is a week of Bible teaching, relaxation and fun. It aims to refresh all who come, from those exploring the Christian faith and asking questions, to those who have been involved for many years.

It is held at Ashburnham Place, a Christian conference centre near Battle, East Sussex. It includes 220 acres of landscaped grounds with woods, lakes and stunning gardens.

City Summer School starts on Friday evening and finishes after breakfast the following Friday.

COVID-19 and City Summer School 2020

Given the likely restrictions in July, both at Ashburnham and across the UK, the City Summer School will not run in its usual format this year. However, we would love to put on what we can in order to serve you, your families and your workplace ministry. Please let Alan know if you would like to join the following:

  • if it became possible for a small group, or two, to go to Ashburnham without children
  • an online programme comprising 1–3 mornings of adult, children and youth content with a couple of extra fun sessions. Please let us know if you have preferences on length/timings, preference for weekdays or a weekend, and any other suggestions.
