The life of Joseph demonstrates God’s ability to bring good out of evil. There is a recurring pattern in the bible: God sends a rescuer; the rescuer is rejected; that rejection then becomes the means by which the rescue is accomplished. This pattern receives its ultimate expression at Calvary.
