Luke 14:15-24

Inexcusable religion (with Q&A)

When Jesus speaks of the ‘kingdom of God’ he is referring to a future physical reality with everything that wrecks and ruins our world removed. Movements such as Extinction Rebellion or #MeToo demonstrate a longing by us all for such an existence. So how come people won't come to Jesus for what he promises? If some won't come, who will? Jesus teaches that his kingdom will not be empty—every seat will be filled at his table. But the identity of those who are there will surprise us greatly.
