Psalm 44:1-26

When suffering isn't our fault

Life can be deeply painful. Sometimes it is especially acute because we are Christian. We ask why God would cause things to be this way. How can we thrive, or simply survive, as his people when we feel overwhelmed and crushed? This psalm deals with the reality of life when everything goes wrong. It gives us words to help articulate our feelings and points us to the hope we have in the Lord.
