Knowledge of the truth

Salvation brings with it a knowledge of divine truth—the fourth hallmark. It is a movement from darkness to light at more than one level. Nicodemus was highly educated but lacked knowledge of God until his life was changed by Jesus. But coming into the light provokes opposition and conflict.
