The sustaining Lord

When gospel service gets really hard, it is very important to know that this is normal, rather than a sign that something has gone wrong. At the end of the letter, Paul takes Timothy through a snapshot of normal ministry. There are desertion and opposition, but also Paul’s faithful example and an entirely dependable Lord.
