Romans 7:1-25

Body of death

Why is it so hard to please God? Even for the Christian, trying to please God can often feel almost
impossible, even when we want to. Paul tells us that the reason: Christians still live in dying bodies
as we wait for God’s Spirit to raise us. Paul’s teaching in Romans 7 will protect us from having wrong
expectations about the Christian life and will help us to please God as we live by faith in God’s
resurrection power
