Where are we now?

What’s life going to be like? Our optimistic age anticipates a utopian future—even Eden restored. The Bible gives a more realistic picture: the pain and toil of a good world under God’s curse. As well as explaining our brilliant-but-broken experience of life, work, and marriage, we see where true hope lies: not back in Eden, but forward, in the Lord Jesus.
