Is wisdom more precious than anything else we may desire? In Proverbs 8, wisdom is portrayed as a woman calling out to her listeners. Wisdom seeks to persuade us that she is the most precious thing we could desire. In Wisdom's great speech, she outlines her qualities, rewards and credentials, so that we listen to her words.
