The word that sets the captive free

The message of salvation from God through faith in Jesus has advanced mightily across the world. God’s promise is that wherever his word is proclaimed this will happen, and Acts 16 shows us how it happens. It doesn’t always look as if God’s word is triumphing, but God works nonetheless to ensure the progress of his salvation message. This will give us great confidence as we seek to evangelise and re-evangelise our friends, family, and colleagues.
