Who are these rivals?

The LORD is the one true God who all should ascribe greatness to. But our world is full of idols, and rivals, who are worshipped instead of Him. This is a travesty. We turn to Isaiah, to see the LORD's promise to bring an end to this and bring salvation to the ends of the earth.
