Jesus believes in hell

The Christian doctrine of hell is one from which many Christians shy. But Jesus never did. Jesus believed in hell. Jesus came to save people from hell. Yet Jesus never spoke of hell glibly, or with a sense of gleeful vindictiveness. It is with tears in the eyes and love in the heart that we consider the doctrine of hell. But consider it we must – for Jesus spoke more of the reality of hell than of heaven. His teaching on this subject is to be found on page after page of the gospels.
